La Leche League
is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated
to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women
who want to breastfeed. Attending La Leche League meetings can help you
learn about breastfeeding from other nursing mothers. At these monthly
meetings, mothers share not only their questions and concerns but also the
benefits and joys of breastfeeding. Knowing other women who have breastfed
their babies can be helpful and reassuring. It is also important to have
accurate, up-to-date information.
Membership in La
Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group.
Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International.
The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Babies are always welcome. Please bring several quiet toys
with you that your child will enjoy.

RED ROSE Meets first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m., 3rd floor
conference room, Suburban Outpatient Pavillion, 2100 Good Drive, Lancaster.
GREATER EPHRATA Meets second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., call
SUSQUEHANNA meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., Marietta
Community Chapel, 1125 River Road, Marietta.
LANCASTER EAST Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., Family
Trees Birth Place, 2481 New Holland Pike, Lancaster.
LITITZ Meets the fourth Wednesday of each month 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Heart
of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, 1500 Highlands Drive, Lititz, in the multi purpose

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their
own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League
International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of
breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding
questions or concerns.
